Access Ledger - Recover a deleted entity or accounting period in Access Ledger

Access Ledger does not have a way to recover deleted data. Because of this, there are extra steps in place to help prevent accidental deletion.

Delete the data safely

  1. Log in to Access Ledger and click on the required entity.

  2. Within the Accounting Period window, click the Information tab.

  3. Select the Delete option in Access Ledger, whether on an entity or accounting period, you receive this warning, 'This action cannot be undone. Are you sure you want to delete this accounting period?'

  4. By typing in the required information, i.e. The Accounting Period name, then click 'Yes, I understand the consequences' means you are choosing to permanently delete the accounting period.
