For an account name change to appear on the financial reports, the change needs to be done in the Source Accounts.
Log in to Access Ledger.
Select your client entity.
Click on the Accounts tab.
Click on the Source Accounts tab.
Locate the account name to change then on the right-hand side click on the 3 dot icon, the choose Edit Source Account.
Make the necessary changes, then click Save.
Any transactions processed after the account name change, (i.e. a Journal), will update the financial reports with the new account name.
Note: Simply running the reports without making changes to the data will not update in the reports.
