Access Ledger - Customise a master policy in Access Ledger

Updated over 2 months ago

In Access Ledger, a master policy cannot be edited, it can however, be customised. This creates a new variant of the policy. The benefit of this process is that if the standards update and Access Ledger updates the default policy, users can choose to revert or merge any customisations you have previously made.

Customise a master policy

  1. Log in to Access Ledger.

  2. Locate and select the required client entity.

  3. Click the File Settings menu and select Accounting Policies.

  4. Locate and select the required master policy. The Lock icon and the Access Master message display to let you know this is a master policy.

  5. Click Customise.

  6. Edit the Name, Location, Description, and Show by Default fields as required.

  7. Click Save to save and close this window.
