Access Ledger - Unable to find new source account in Access Ledger

Access Ledger requires a four-digit account number for data to be successfully imported from HandiLedger.

The error creating import journal for the 20xx accounting period, can occur when the number of digits in the account shown is less than four.
​
To resolve this, follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to HandiLedger and Select your entity.

  2. Go to the View menu, Ledger Entries, and click Fix.

  3. Enter in the From field the account shown in the error message.

  4. In the To field enter the digit(s) missing. Ensure there are four digits in this field.

  5. Click OK to make the change.

  6. Export the data from HandiLedger again.
