When using the Excel Add-in to import data into a dataset, you may encounter an unresponsive window, which can prevent the completion of the task.

To resolve this issue, you will need to clear the Wef folder.
Close all Excel files and other Office programs.
On your keyboard, press Windows key + R to open the Run command prompt.
Copy and paste the following command: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Wef\ then press OK.
File Explorer will display the Wef folder. Please delete all contents within the Wef folder.
Open Excel and proceed to prepare the journal again.
Note: Microsoft Office will re-create what it needs when the Add-in is next launched.
Note: The files in the Wef folder enable Excel to launch the add-in more quickly by preventing repeated downloads. However, if these files become outdated or corrupted, clearing this folder prompts Excel to retrieve a fresh copy, effectively resolving many Add-in related issues.
